Our Story
Here at Connemara Brewing Co., we are very proud of our beers. Our focus is on making a small number of beers really well - consistently high-quality beers is what we’re all about. Connemara is blessed with some of the highest quality water in the world, which combined with the highest quality raw materials, and crafted by the know-how of our world-class brewers, results in beers with consistently high quality.
All our beers are made from scratch here in our brewery in the heart of Connemara, using traditional recipes and the best possible local ingredients which we source directly from our carefully selected producers.

OUR TEAM
Aine O'Hora
Our brewery is led by one of the foremost brewers in Ireland, and a real west of Ireland woman. Aine moved home to Galway following a phenomenally successful and diverse career in brewing. Aine has been brewing continuously since finishing her science degree almost 20 years ago (further complimented by a Masters in Brewing & Distilling). She has started and ran both start-up craft and large international breweries and now invests all that experience and skill into producing what we believe are some of Ireland’s best beers.
OUR TEAM
Chris McDonagh
Born in Connemara, Chris is another local Gaeilgeoir beginning his brewing journey with us as cellar-man in the brewery in 2020. With a thirst for knowledge & fantastic work ethic he has elevated his skills immensely over that time and now brews our Irish Lager & Irish Ale for our growing customers. When not found in the brewery, Chris is often behind a set of decks doing DJ events throughout the region. He has a playlist for everyone in the team!

Diane Ní Chonghaile
A proud Gaeilgeoir, Diane is pivotal to our small team at Connemara Brewing. She runs our office, making sure all of our book keeping, admin and accounts are all up to date and correct.

OUR TEAM
Marc O'Se
Born in Connemara, Marc has been a part of the team since the beginning. He has assisted in the brewery in all facets and now leads the charge taking care of our customers installations, maintenance & servicing of beer systems. Marcs knowledge of the brewing process compliments his ability to get the right equipment and take correct care of it so the delivery of our brews to you is perfect every time. When he isn't modelling our merchandise he is usually installing new tap systems on our ever growing venues.
